Nintendo 3DS Sold 4M Units in U.S. During 2011

by on January 5, 2012

It seems Nintendo representatives are all smiles right now with the result of last year’s massive price drop for the 3DS.

As CNet reports, Nintendo 3DS sold 4 million units in the United States alone during 2011. This is a nice way for the company to bounce back since the gaming device was almost doomed to failure after the cold market response. Back in the third quarter of last year, the 3DS merely sold 710,000 units across the world.

Did you get your own 3DS during the price cut? What do you think Nintendo should do next to boost their sales this year? Hit us up with your comments.
