SlashGear.com has shared Microsoft’s recent announcement that several new advertisers are hoping to reach wider audiences through the Xbox Live platform.
The news said that ESPN, CBS Interactive Properties, GameSpot, Last.fm, Manga Entertainment, and Muzu.tv are the latest companies to bring 30-second ads to your TV screen. In the past, advertisements on Xbox 360 apps were mostly from The Today Show and MSNBC, Crackle, and UFC.
The addition of these companies simply confirm that video game consoles are now becoming the new preferred way to watch television. Besides, it has been said that Xbox Live currently has more than 40 million active members.
